PROJECT Meeting Hartberg 19th – 24th November 2018

Our visit to Hartberg was fruitful for the B.Smart4Europe project. The partners from Germany, Belgium, Finland, Austria and South Tyrol continued to develop new experiences using innovative apps and learning tools and demonstrating feedback with their classes. The week was full of activities, assignments and intense learning – teacher training and sharing best practices, and different experiences.

The coordinator proposed on this occasion to consider new partnerships for future projects on the new AK2 Erasmus+ programme.

The students did their presentations on ‘My country, my town, my school’ and further activities based on the reading of the assigned book ‘Fly Away home’ in multinational peer groups. For example a summary and interpretation of the book using new apps always speaking in English as the language of communication.

The Austrian host partners organised a rich cultural activity programme including an advent decorations workshop, a visit to a special organic chocolate factory https://www.zotter.at/en/homepage.html, visit to historic Graz and during the whole week all participants feasted on typical local Styrian products.

Students were hosted in the school dormitory and participated fully in the regular school context, including activities such as curling, a typical local sport.
