European day of languages 26th September 2023
Thank you to all the teachers and students who participated in the European Day of Languages. According to the Council of Europe, “linguistic diversity is a tool for achieving greater intercultural understanding”. In this way we also prepare our students for the multicultural world we live in. The data shows that many classes are multilingual some with 6 or 7 languages, and one class with 12 languages. The students enjoyed the activities and we had many who came to the desk and were testimonial to their spoken language. In our school we speak 22 different languages: Albanian, Arab, Morrocan Arab, Chinese, Czech, English, Flemish, French, Senegalese French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Dominican Republic Spanish, Venezuelan Spanish, Tagalog (Filipino), Ukrainian, Wolof and Italian Sign Language.

Ringraziamo tutti i docenti e studenti che hanno partecipato alla Giornata Europea delle Lingue. Il Consiglio d’Europa “ritiene che la diversità linguistica sia uno strumento per ottenere una migliore comprensione interculturale”. In questo modo prepariamo i nostri studenti per l’attuale mondo multiculturale. I risultati mostrano che molte classi sono multi linguistiche , alcune con 6 o 7 lingue e una classe con ben 12 lingue. Gli studenti si sono divertiti partecipando alle attività e una decina sono venuti al desk a testimoniare le loro lingue. Nella nostra scuola parliamo oltre 20 lingue: Albanese, arabo, arabo marocchino, cinese, ceco, fiammingo, francese, francese senegalese, giapponese, inglese, italiano, portoghese, rumeno, russo, spagnolo, spagnolo repubblica dominicana, spagnolo venzuelana, tagalog filippino, tedesco, ucraino, wolof e Lingua Italiana dei Segni LIS.
